Sajal participates regularly in salons across the world and his photographs have received innumerable ‘Acceptances’ and number of ‘Awards’ from various national and international salons over the globe. Sajal also came out with a book titled as ‘India in Celebration’ in 2021 which gives pictorial insight of the colourful fairs & festivals across India.
Sajal came out with this book ‘India in Celebration’ in 2021 which presents colourful and vivid impressions of the fairs & festivals of India, involving 27 events across different regions of India – north, south, central, east and west. Taking time out of his intense corporate schedule, Sajal has traversed the country through different seasons and for a period spanning over five years to capture the spirit and colours of India, framing diverse moments of celebration of life to present, in his words “a colourful, tolerant and respectful India” to the world at large.
The book includes 212 photographs framed by Sajal Ghosh and narratives by Dr. Jael Silliman. Foreword of the book has been penned by Dr. Shashi Tharoor.
Sajal came out with another book “India in Monochrome” in 2024. This book is a collection of many candid moments of life which he has framed during his journey through India over a period of time. The photographs here represent the grand, the intimate, the sacred and the daily routines of life across India. In this book, the past and the present are in constant conversation. This is a journey through India and the readers and viewers can feel the essence of life in India, while they move through the pages of ‘India in Monochrome.’
