Book Launch

India in Celebration, a photography book on Indian festivals and fairs, was launched on 11th April, 2021 at Bengal Club, Kolkata. The book containing 212 photographs and involving 27 events was published by Rupali Publishers, Kolkata and printed by N K Gossain Printing Press, Kolkata. All photographs contained in the book have been clicked and framed by Shri Sajal Ghosh (EFIP, EFIAP) and text was penned by Dr. Jael Silliman. Foreword was written by Dr. Shashi Tharoor.

India is as large as it could be and it is extremely difficult to cover all aspects in one’s lifetime. Honestly, I tried to cover as much as possible after extracting time out of my corporate responsibilities … and travelled across length and breadth of the country for around 5 years or so (before Covid) to document the colours, diversity, intensity, vividness of Indian fairs & festivals…some known and some unknown… and further, to present India as a beautiful, tolerant and respectful country where I belong.

This is hard cover bound and printed on special art paper. It is officially launched on 11th April, 2021.
